Job description - Science consultant

About the Role:

We are looking for a Scientific Consultant to support the development of our educational video games. Your role will be to review and validate scientific content to ensure accuracy and credibility while making it engaging for players.

Responsibilities:
Verify the scientific accuracy of game content, mechanics, and narratives.
Provide expert insights to ensure complex concepts are presented in a clear and engaging way.
Collaborate with the design and writing teams to integrate accurate scientific principles.
Suggest improvements or corrections when necessary.
Occasionally participate in team meetings to discuss scientific aspects of the game.

Requirements:
Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in relevant field: biology, chemistry, physics etc...
Experience in science communication or education is a plus.
Ability to explain complex topics in an accessible and engaging way.
Interest in video games and interactive learning experiences.
Availability to provide input on an ad hoc basis.

Nice to Have:
Previous experience working with game developers or media content creators.
Familiarity with gamification and educational design principles.
